Many folks select specific stores to shop in due to the rewards programs and contests programs offered by the store. Walmart claims to offer contest entries upon the receipts gotten from making purchases there.

The directions state that one must go online to and enter the "Store#" and the "ID#" from the receipt. Of 49 receipts gotten from making purchases at store #02366, there was no "ID#". I finally remembered to bring those receipts in with me 2 days ago for perusal by a store manager to make sure I was not missing something, was not insane or the possibility the ID# was listed as anything else. The store manager found me to be correct, there is no ID # on any of the receipts.

I emailed and even called their DHS support to make inquiry. An answer could not be gotten via email and phone support was equally baffled.

A call to my AG office shed a little light but not conclusively. I was told that it is common practice for such things when the place offering a contest fails to provide the tools to do so is deliberate and usually due to false advertising to lure in customers.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

If you use a store employee discount card the info will be missing as employees are not allowed tp enter the contests. Hope this helps you understand.
