I am a TLE associate. A lot of associates don't know how the warrantys on the battery's work.
Especially when info pops up on the computer. The "refund not allowed" is because there is a time frame after purchase that a full refund isn't allowed. That has nothing to do with the warranty. The warranty is validated by recipe, serial number, or the date sicker on the battery from the manufacturer.
Typically serial number is always used. Then the computer makes the adjustment automatically based on date of purchase. Who ever attempted to assist you just didn't know how to Process it correctly. Then most of the managers don't know how it works either.
My best advice is to go to TLE and get it done there.
Nine times out of ten they know how to process it. Unless it's someone new.
