Walmart - Up date on Wal-Mart Vision Center

hello again. I am the one that wrote the complaint about Wal-Marts Vision center being pathetic. I need to let you know that yesterday after noon, my hubby marched into Wal-Mart and ask for the manager. He was told they were gone to lunch. He sat down and said he would wait. The young lady there ( not the rude obnoxious one that didn't care if I walked in front of a truck!) ask how she could help. She was prompt,courteous and above all a person who cared about the customer. We explained what we had been told in the other store and she took care of the problem, never losing her smile at all. Her name was Sherry and Wal-Mart should give this employee a raise! She actually gave me hope and I wanted to tell her "Thank You". I now know that the policy is to do as much as possible for the customer, Its the employee that determines your fate. To Talladega Sherry, sitting in for "THE BROAD IN THE PICTURE " in Oxford, Alabama..............YOU ROCK!!!

Was searched at walmart in Anderson , In after checking out

I was leaving walmart in Anderson indiana after making purchase for Mothers Day. A woman came up and asked for reciept. After i had walked past scanner. It totally humiliated me. She was rude and I tryied to ask questions and a police woman was there seconds after start of incident. When I tried to say something , the policewoman told me " If I wanted a long night and paused ". I didnt try to find out anything after that. The woman checked my reciept which was in my wallet and then checked my bag. I told the woman that I was going to call Walmart and she said go ahead it's " It's 1800 - walmart". i also said I wouldn't be back and she said "thats fine". it was totally embarrassing standing there with a police officer and the woman representing walmart having me get my reciept out and her checking my bag. People were around watching and I can imagine what they were thinking. At least they could have asked me to go to a private room. Then the male manager lied to me about setting off silent alarm. If you are in a rush or have a absolute need for Eye Wear.Do Not go to Walmart. The average time from eye exam to making the glasses is at least 3 weeks.In some cases 6 weeks....

Walmart - Our Wal-Mart never keeps baby formula stocked

I am the mother of a 5 month old baby girl. I recieve WIC to help pay for the ridiculously high cost of the formula (I had to buy 2 cans to get through and it was 30 bucks) I wish I was filthy rich to the point where I could afford to buy it, but as I said, the cost is absolutely ridiculous. For the second time, I go to get formula because we our out, and there are NO cans of the Infamil Lipil with Iron, which is the only formula I am allowed to get. I ran around the store for about an hour trying to find someone to help me. Finally someone went into the back and said that there were 300 cans sitting on a truck, but none of the unloaders were there yet. I go to speak to a manager and a very helpful, and nice cashier called to the back to tell one of the managers I wanted to speak with him. I stood there for over 25 minutes waiting on him. This cashier kept calling to the back every five minutes, trying everything she could do to get someone to come up front. All the while, my baby girl is whimpering and eating her blanket because she was hungry, and I had no formula on me to feed her because I had used the last of it before I left the house. He FINALLY showed up, and I told him what was going on, and that one of the few helpful employees went into the back to check, and said they were sitting on the truck. This man straight up LIED to me and said the truck wasn't there yet. I know for a fact that he lied because two more employees went to the back to check, and verifed it was back there on a truck. He brushed me off and told me to take a can free of charge to get me through, and was basically unapologetic. I went back this morning to get the rest of my formula and the shelf is STILL empty. I usually write off their incompentencies and brush them off, but when it comes to my daughter and her food, they are messing with the WRONG person.

Walmart - Computer makes tigers angry

Tigers go to wallmart, dont find disk floopy. Salesperson English bad, understand not Tigers do. Ask for manager; manager chinese bad, Tigers *** off. Tigers move for palet mover, man moving palet look like released from Tiger prison. He speak good to Tiger, he friend we push pallet together for six hour. Take break in employee break room Tigers talk. Understand no one cept fo tiger cell mate. Stay for 7 more hour, no disk floopy, no speaky, understandee, Tiger morose. Tiger tink long and hard, lightbulb! Tiger front of store, outside he walk, left turn, understand Tigers and Big Save Tigers do.

Walmart - The service tech didnt put my rims back on correctly

I went to the walmart in plainfield il 60585 to get a tire rotation.First of all they didnt put my rim caps on correctly or didnt put them back on at all.When i went to speak to the manager they told me she would be out in 10 min ,well I stood there for an hour and fourtyfive min.Just so that she could tell me she viewed the video and my caps were on when i left after that its my problem. Ive had my gmc envoy for 4yrs and never had i lost my caps until walmart techs didnt put them on correctly. very pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Walmart - The Wal-Mart "Culture"

In Oct. 2003, I fell on the Wal-Mart premise near my home, in McKinney, TX. That accident led to 2 back surgeries, hip and knee surgery and left me permanently partially disabled. I sued them and for their defense, they portrayed their manager as the Citizen of the Year. The man lied on the stand and contradicted his deposition. Their attorney, in his closing arguments, used the emotion card by saying "She is very sympathetic and I know she had a hard time since she moved from Canada, but we are not a bank." He also said "She invented it all and made herself believe it really happened." They even claimed that I was just wasting time at Wal-Mart and that I was trespassing!! Everybody should know that according to their definition, Wal-Mart is the place to shop but if you are on the premise, you are trespassing!! Their 2 witnesses went on about the Wal-Mart "culture". I have metal plates in my back and I can't feel my left leg anymore. I believe that the Wal-Mart culture is all about lying to cover up for their negligence and not take responsibility for anything. If anything happens to you at a Wal-Mart, get yourself a good attorney (a better one than mine!) and don't forget to bring your video camera, in case you would trip and fall so you can document what happened even BEFORE you fell!
