I purchased several Halloween decoration on clearance on Nov 1. One of the items was defective and Walmart refuses to return it.
They told me they can't sell the item anymore and so they won't take it back. Par for the course for Walmart. The item was only $4, but it will be the last $4 they ever see from me.
I can understand they don't want customers bringing items back that were purchased before Halloween, but a defective item purchased after Halloween is ridiculous. I am not an attorney but I believe federal law protects consumers from buying defective items and requires retailers to accept the return.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $4.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
