Check the date of manufacture.I learned this the hard way.

The last numbers from DOT are week and year. Walmart has sold me tires that are 2 to 3 years old. Tires go bad after 6 to 7 years. If you don't drive your second (or even first for some people) your tire can cause an accident.

I do not recommend buying tires from Walmart ever.

Also you have to keep your original receipt or they will not honor the warranty even if you can prove you had service at the store you bought them from.I will never buy Walmart times again due to this unsafe business practice.

Reviewer is in unhappy mood. This person stated that there is a room for improvement of old tires. Please immediately contact the author of this review to discuss bad quality of tires and associated monetary loss in the amount of $300. Walmart needs to offer any options to resolve the issue according to poster's claims.

Other people also mentioned tires in their reviews. You may find this information helpful for further shopping at Walmart. You can also consider other company suggested by the author: Target.
